Dozens protest Kathleen Wynne's sex-ed agenda outside MPP's office in Mississauga

Dipika Damerla, the Liberal MPP in Mississauga East-Cooksville, held a sex-ed information session at her constituency office at 1420 Burnhamthorpe Road East tonight. Outside, dozens of residents showed up to protest what they feel is an expropriation of their parental rights by the state.

"Parents are protesting the new sex-ed curriculum, which contains controversial and misleading information, and age inappropriate sex information which does more harm than good," explained one parent, who estimated that about 60 people showed up to the protest. "We feel angry and disappointed that Premier Wynne's Government is going to impose this improper curriculum on our kids in a very rude way, without caring or listening to our concerns.
