Alleged jihadists in Ottawa share common link

Swearing an oath to al-Qaida, and schooled in the terrorist training grounds of Afghanistan, Hiva Alizadeh came to Canada's capital in hopes of spawning a homegrown terror network.

The first objective was to build bombs -- Alizadeh was caught with the makings of dozens of detonation devices and handwritten Farsi instructions on how to build them -- and his other mission was scouting for a Taliban-style terror training ground here in Ottawa.

Alizadeh's arrest in 2010 as the ringleader identified in the RCMP's Project Samossa investigation -- and his subsequent terror conviction -- may have disrupted his plans, but there were others who shared his ambitions.

U.S. Condemns 'Heinous' Beheading of 21 Egyptian Christians by ISIS

The U.S. condemned the videotaped beheading of 21 Egyptian Christians kidnapped in Libya, explicitly blaming ISIS-affiliated terrorists Sunday for the "wanton killing of innocents."

The Egyptians, dressed in orange jump suits, were beheaded after being forced down on the ground on a beach. An early caption in the video says the location is "Wilayat Tarabulus by the Mediterranean Sea," which suggests that it was filmed near Tripoli.

Each of the victims, who are all male, is paired with a masked, knife-wielding terrorist and, after a brief statement by the ISIS leader, they are all beheaded.

Some Regions of Nigeria Now Devoid of Christians

The U.S. State Department, meanwhile, published a warning urging U.S. citizens not to travel to 17 of the country's 36 states "due to the risk of kidnappings, robberies, and other armed attacks." The list encompasses every state in the far north, central Plateau state and Delta, Bayelsa and Rivers in the oil-rich south.

Over 20,000 Muslims from outside Syria have joined the jihad there

"To underpin the dimensions of the phenomenon, the intelligence expert explains that 'the number of direct foreign fighters in Syria is unprecedented' and 'exceeds' that of those who have gone to 'Afghanistan and Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia or other areas in the last 20 years.'" And "foreign fighters prefer to enlist among the militias of the Islamic State, seen today as more attractive than other extremist and terrorist movements." This is because of the lure of the concept of the caliphate as transcending all other earthly allegiances. But Western analysts wave that away with the claim that the Islamic State has nothing to do with Islam. Meanwhile, Muslims from all over the world keep streaming into Syria to join up with this entity that has nothing to do with Islam.

"Syria, more than 20 thousand foreign fighters have joined the jihad,"

Undercover informant infiltrated a suspected ISIS recruiting network in Ottawa, leading to arrest

An undercover informant infiltrated a suspected ISIS recruiting network in Ottawa, helping RCMP counter-terrorism officers disrupt the operation and bring charges against at least one of the members, the National Post has learned.

Abdullah Milton's family confirmed Wednesday that he was in witness protection following the arrest of alleged ISIS facilitator and financier Awso Peshdary and two associates, John Maguire and Khadar Khalid, both suspected ISIS fighters.

The charge sheet filed in Ontario court by the RCMP alleges that between April 1 and December 7, 2014, Mr. Khalib had counseled Mr. Milton to "knowingly participate in or contribute to, directly or indirectly an activity of a terrorist group."

Montreal imam has passport revoked; was once named as 'subject of interest' in probe

Federal officials have revoked the passport of an Iranian-trained Montreal imam once described by the RCMP's Integrated National Security Enforcement Team as a "subject of interest in an ongoing investigation."

Ali Sbeiti, who was born in Iraq but has been a Canadian citizen since 1991, was notified in a Nov. 19 letter that his passport had been "invalidated" and that Passport Canada was reviewing his "eligibility for passport services."

The four-page letter from Citizenship and Immigration Canada advised Mr. Sbeiti he could no longer use his passport and that he had to return it immediately. While it cited federal regulations, the letter did not explain why the action was taken.

Accused terrorists seen on railway tracks

Jurors at the Via Rail terror trial watched aerial surveillance video Monday of two alleged terrorists standing beside the train they're accused of plotting to derail.

"That's the target," alleged terrorist Raed Jaser told co-accused, Chiheb Esseghaier, as the eastbound Via Rail train raced past them about three metres to five metres away.

The two men had no idea that the third man on the tracks with them, Tamer El Noury, was an undercover FBI agent who was recording their conversations with a bodypack while aerial surveillance video was being shot at the same time.

Jordan launches new airstrikes after vowing harsh war on ISIS

Dozens of Jordanian fighter jets bombed ISIS training centers and weapons storage sites Thursday, intensifying attacks after the militants burned to death a captured Jordanian pilot.

As part of the new campaign, Jordan is also attacking targets in Iraq, said Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh. Up to now, Jordan had struck ISIS targets in Syria, but not Iraq, as part of a U.S.-led military coalition.

"We said we are going to take this all the way, we are going to go after them wherever they are and we're doing that," Judeh told Fox News.

Texas Islamic Tribunal 'Lawyers' Appear to be Practicing without License

Have you ever heard of the teaching in Islam called 'Taqiya'? This is a teaching from Allah, the Moon god of Islam, that allows the Muslims to lie if it helps expand Islam in an Infidel (non-Believer) socity, like USA or Cananda. This story is an unbelivabe excample of this Islamic teaching. Whereby its ok to lie if to pretend about being a lawyer or a judge in the USA. I wonder if there are any Canadian Muslim lawyers who perhaps are practising this Islamic teaching in our nation today? Mark Harding.

Breitbart Texas also raised a question with the TXULPC about the attorneys claiming to be judges. Munoz said that does not fall under the TXUPLC and referred this writer to the State Commission on Judicial Conduct. Munoz stated that a person putting themselves forward as being an attorney who is not licensed to practice law could be guilty of a third degree felony. READ MORE
